“The New Year’s Bountiful Blessing: Three hundred and sixty-five bright mornings and starlit evenings; fifty-two promising weeks; twelve transformative months full of beautiful possibilities; and four splendid seasons. A simply abundant year to be savored.”

I love this quote by Sarah ban Breathnach from her book ‘Simple Abundance’. It sparkles with possibilities for the new year ahead.

On New Year’s Eve, as I watch the New York City ritual of people crammed into Times Square waiting expectantly for the crystal ball to drop and proclaim a new year… I see faces full of hope and anticipation of the fulfillment of dreams. A fresh start! People the world over celebrate the new beginning. What will the new year bring? Maybe this year….!

We all start the new year with great intentions and high hopes. What are your dreams for this new year? What would you like to experience? Are there any changes, big or small, that would please you in your life? What will bring you joy, and nourish and fulfill you… body, mind, heart, and soul? What are your hopes and dreams? Oh… the possibilities!

So… What’s your plan?

How are you going to bring those hopes and dreams to your life and make them a reality? Acknowledge your dreams. Claim them. You deserve to be happy. Set your intention to have them. Then give them a place in your life in real time… every day. Make space for them. Put them on your calendar and datebook. Make time for them in your schedule. Make your dreams a high priority. Make a sacred promise to yourself that you will honor your dreams and create them in your life… a promise of well-being and joy! Keep your promise even when you get discouraged, stuck, or perplexed. If they are big changes, proceed one step at a time and they will be realized. Keep the vision of your dream and the desire and passion for it close.

Go for your dreams in this new year! Embrace the possibilities… the unlimited magic of your own creativity! Live the life that exists within your heart!

Happy New Year! May Blessings And Joy Be Yours Always!
